Pictures of the Ásatrú literally meaning ‘belief in the Aesir’; a pagan group in Iceland that have decided to revive their pagan roots. I’d say it’s more like reactivation because the old Gods have never really left Iceland, even though Iceland has been officially Christian since the year 1000. At least at the level of pop culture the was always a degree of love for Thor, Loki and Odin. The Eddas and the Sagas also regularly feature in standard school programs.
Yet another reason I want to move to Iceland!
